As an EDUCATOR, I challenge my students daily to question the conventional definition of β€œArt” and begin to DEVELOP their own. My curriculum is structured to promote learning and growth, using the following three objectives as a foundation.

  1. The development of critical analysis skills, through the study and evaluation of globally focused art history. (Writing/ Speaking)

  2. The successful application of learned artistic techniques, through the creation of meaningful works of art. (Creating)

  3. The exploration of themes related to identity, community, and culture, through the execution of rigorous visual art projects. (Critical Thinking/Understanding)
